Founded in 2016 by Brooklyn native Hussain Akbar, Somethin' Brooklyn was conceived as a means to capture the fresh style & pride as well as revive the deep rooted ruggedness, resilience, and grittiness of this great city. Brooklyn is love and it's felt by everyone that comes here.
Simply uttering the phrase "Somethin' Brooklyn" conjures up these entrenched emotions and ascribes an authoritative respect. It encapsulates everything Brooklyn from it's historical foundation to the rough housing schemes into it's beautiful tree-lined blocks.
